In March 2016, President Donald Trump tweeted an unflattering picture of actor Michael Moore.
He later called Moore a “lightweight” and “a pussy”.
Moore said he didn’t want to comment on the president’s actions, but did express his disgust.
“I was stunned when I saw that the President of the United States was retweeting a picture of me and Michael Moore on Twitter,” Moore told TechRadars.
The pair worked together on the comedy hit The F Word, and Moore’s recent film The Fade Out was nominated for two Oscars. “
It was like a punch in the gut for me and a slap in the face for him.”

“Trump was on a Twitter rant and I felt like, well, what are you gonna do?
You’re gonna tweet a picture?
It was just a shock.
It wasn’t something I was going to let go of.
I felt compelled to tell him that.
It was kind of like, fuck it, let’s go with it.”
He said the tweet sent him into “a rage”, and the two have been together ever since.
“You think that’s gonna end?
You think that it’s over?
I was shocked when I heard that tweet,” Moore said.
“The President of The United States is tweeting at me and asking for a picture, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I’ve been in this industry my whole life.
I’ve done this for 20 years.
I have a lot of friends.
I can handle this.
I don’t need to be insulted or mocked.'”
In response, Trump tweeted a picture he took of Moore with the caption “You can’t treat me this way.
I am the most talented man to ever walk the face of the Earth.
And now he is trying to bully me?”
He also called Moore “a lightweight” and said he doesn’t want him to speak on his behalf.
“But it was a shock, so that’s why I did what I did,” Moore added.
The Hollywood Reporter spoke to Moore, who has been outspoken about his support for Trump, for his reaction to the president.
“He was on his Twitter rant,” Moore explained.
I was stunned. “
When I saw the tweet, I felt the need to say, ‘I’m not going to take it any longer.’
I was stunned.
That is not just disrespectful. “
For someone to make that comment, that’s not just offensive, that is a lie.
That is not just disrespectful.
That’s not the kind of man that I am.
He added that Trump’s comments were “absolutely reprehensible”. “
If he’s going to say something like that, he’s a coward, he can’t handle being called a coward.”
He added that Trump’s comments were “absolutely reprehensible”.
“It’s not about him,” Moore concluded.
“What is it about him?
What is the reason he’s doing this?
Why is he making this public?
Why are he making it public?
What’s his motivation?
It’s beyond comprehension, beyond comprehension.”
